CHANE LATORRE is Alex Medina’s love interest in “Babagwa”. They have unabashed bedscenes in the movie where they’re both in their birthday suits. Chanel says it’s her first time to go daring. What made her do it?
“I just want to do something out of the box,” she says. “When I read the script, I knew I’d be required to do such scenes. I agreed kasi I trust our director and comfortable naman ako kay Alex after we had a sensuality workshop.”
After this, Chanel also had a similar sexy bedscene with Victor Basa in “Lauriana”, one of her two entries in the Sineng Pambansa. The other is “Lihis”, where she plays an ill-fated student activist killed by the military. “This is really a productive year for me,” she says. “Bale I made ten movies, all in all. I’m now in the cast of two Cinema One filmfest entries, ‘Woman in the Ruins’ and ‘Bendor’ with Vivian Velez.”
