Vina Morales Reveals The Truth About Sister Shaina's Alleged Involvement With Piolo Pascual

WHY DID VINA Morales accept playing the role of Jessy Mendiola’s mother in “Maria Mercedes” when she’s actually just a few years older than her? “When they explained the story me, maganda ang role ko as Magnolia,” she says. “Sa amin ni Dominic Ochoa magsisimula ang kuwento as the parents of Maria Mercedes and her siblings. Maraming mangyayari kasi mawawala muna ako after Dominic dies at sina Jessy will be on their own, pero babalik uli later ang character ko na may magandang development sa story. Also, si Chito Rono and nagdirek sa episodes na ginawa ko at matagal ko nang hinihintay ang chance na makatrabaho ang isang magaling na director like him.”

She remains loveless at the moment but her younger sister, Shaina, is currently being linked to Piolo Pascual. What can she say about this? “I’m never against anyone linked to my sister kasi I trust her. She’s a strong person who can take care of herself as she has matured a lot. I respect whatever her decisions and choices maybe. But ang alam ko, sila ni Piolo are just good friends. Barkada sila and they always go out in a group. For now, they’re really just enjoying each other’s company na wala namang expectations.”

She says after Shaina’s heartbreaking breakup with John Lloyd Cruz, she doesn’t think her sister is ready to get into another serious relationship. “Sinuman yung mga nagpaparamdam sa kanya, they’ll have to wait until she’s 100 percent ready to make a commitment again.”
