“Talaga po? Kung totoo po, thank you. But I don’t think my mom would mind. Ikatutuwa pa nga niya yun. Looks-wise, wala talaga kong minana sa mom ko. Mas kamukha ko talaga ang dad ko (Joey Marquez), pati sa kulay,” she says.
So when will she join a beauty pageant like her Tita Melanie? “Marami ngang nangungumbinsi but I can feel I’m not ready yet. 21 pa lang naman ako. Siguro later na lang. I need to gain more experience, more confidence. I’m now co-managed by Jonas Gaffud, who built up so many beauty queens pati si Megan Young, and he agrees na it’s better to wait.”
She’s happy to be part of GMA-7’s new Sunday afternoon show, “Dormitoryo”. “I play Maika. Maganda yung role ko kasi sa pagkamatay ko iikot ang story. Yes, it starts with me falling from a building. Di malaman kung pinatay ako o nagpakamatay. Lauren Young will replace me sa dorm namin and I will appear to her as a ghost, asking for help. Eventually, malalaman what really happened to me in relation with the other characters in the show played by Joyce Ching, Enzo Pineda, Ruru Madrid, Mayton Eugenio and the other cast members.”
