AGA MUHLACH’s exciting interactive game show, “Let’s Ask Pilipinas”, will start airing tonight. It’s supposed to be aired before at 8PM, but with the changes in TV5’s programming due to the PBA Finals, “Let’s Ask Pilipinas” will now be aired at 7PM, right after the “Aksyon” newscast, then to be followed by Sharon Cuneta’s barangay serye, “Madame Chairman” at 7:30PM. This means it will be competing with the news programs of the top two channels. Find out How To Join Aga Muhlach's New TV5 Interactive Game Show 'Let's Ask Pilipinas'.
“Yes, but we’re going to offer something different naman,” says Aga. “That’s why the newscast of TV5 is earlier. So kung tapos na kayo sa balita, you’ll be entertained by our own game show where you can also win lots of prizes kahit nasa bahay lang kayo.”
Aga went to the U.S. to watch the original American version of the show, “Let’s Ask America”. TV5 executives reviewed the pilot episodes Aga did and they were very much impressed with Aga’s hosting skills. They’re amazed at how he was able to handle the program with much wit and charm, so they thought it best to show it in an earlier timeslot as pre-program to Sharon’s own show. This is Aga’s second show with them as he’s also seen on Sundays at 6PM in his educational travel show that takes us to breathtaking places here and abroad, “Pinoy Explorer”.
In “Let's Ask Pilipinas”, four contestants each day just have to correctly predict what a majority of Pinoy respondents have answered to questions regarding various everyday situations. TV5 got a survey company to do this expertly. The game has three rounds and, by the end of each round, the contestant with the lowest cash winnings is eliminated. If there's a tie at the end of three rounds, the two remaining players will be playing the "Agad Agad" round where Aga will ask the contestants to do a physical challenge to determine who will play the final round. In the jackpot round, the contestant can bet all or part of his winnings on the final question of the day. The player who chooses to wager all of his money can win up to P500,000 every day. Any Filipino aged 18 years old and above can have a chance to play in Let's Ask Pilipinas by logging on to www.tv5.com/show/letsaskpilipinas. They can register at the website and submit their photo and just wait for the call from Let's Ask Pilipinas staff if they qualified.
