NADINE SAMONTE looks slimmer when we saw her at the launch of TV5’s new primetime shows in Everyday All The Way compared to when we saw her at the presscon of “Kidlat” some months ago. She also looks sexier with her new sultry hairstyle.
“Pumayat na, pero mas nagpapapayat pa,” she tells us.
Nadine is glad to be part of TV5’s 7:30 nightly drama show, “The Gift”, where she plays Ogie Alcasid’s new love interest after the first one, Ara Mina, dies in a car crash. “Kakaiba ang show kasi ang batang anak ni Ara na si Ogie na ang nag-aalaga, may third eye and he gets to talk to dead people,” she says.
She was on with non-showbiz BF Emerson Chua for a long time but they’ve since broken up. After being linked to Leandro Munoz, she’s now officially engaged to Richard Chua, son of actress Isabel Rivas. She now even wears the engagement ring he gave her.
“He proposed in Jully sa Sofitel,” she says. “Nagulat ako when he said ‘Will you marry me?’ Sabi ko, ‘Are you serious?’ Then he gave me the ring. But it doesn’t mean pakakasal na kami. Baka next year na. We want to take our time.”
