Renz Fernandez On His Rumored Romance With Co-Star LJ Reyes

RENZ FERNANDEZ himself says LJ is just a good friend. Hasn’t he found someone new after he broke up with Maxene Magalona who has already replaced him with a non-showbiz guy?

“Wala,” he says. “Wala pa akong ipinapalit na kahit sino. I’m just lucky GMA-7 gave me this chance na makapagtrabaho ako sa kanila and enjoy ako rito sa first show ko with them na ‘Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko’, so dito muna ang concentration ko and I don’t want to be distracted. Gusto kong maging maayos talaga ang acting ko as a sign ng aking pasasalamat sa pagtitiwala nila sa akin.”

The director of “Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko” is Dondon Santos, who also helmed him in his last show with ABS-CBN, “Little Champ”, before Dondon transferred to GMA-7 to direct “Indio”.

We’re now taping our 7th week at isang natutuhan ko rito is how to do power naps while waiting for my take. ” Read also, Lorna Tolentino Can Be Proud Of Her Son Renz Fernandez Who's Now A Kapuso Like Her.

As Luis Grande in the story, he’s a very rich guy. To be able to portray and project his role well, he really bought expensive clothes and suits from his own pocket that he uses in taping the show.

Puede ko pa rin naman silang gamitin in other shows that’ll be assigned to me in the future.”

What will he do now for his late dad (Rudy Fernandez) that All Saints Day is nearing?

“Siempre, we’ll all visit him sa Heritage Memorial. Yung time na may sakit si Papa was really an ordeal for me, my Kuya Ralph and our mom. Gusto niya, nakikita kaming laging masaya. So we have to put up a brave front, pero kung minsan, hindi ako makatagal, kaya nagtatago ako para umiyak.

Managed by Malou Choa Fagar, what Renz wants to improve on right now is his delivery of lines. I really want to make good in this business as an actor.”
