Rocco Nacino Enjoys Playing Anti-Hero Bida-Kontrabida Role In 'Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas'

ROCCO NACINO plays an anti-hero role in “Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas”. As Jerry, he is scheming with Charee Pineda as Agatha to deceive Lovi Poe as Lovelia and her dad, Gary Estrada as Roel. Isn’t he worried people my sterotype him as a villain?

“The role of Jerry is a very challenging one for me kasi it’s actually bida-kontrabida,” he says. “Magkababata kami rito ni Lovi at pinagtatanggol ko siya, but then si Charee ang naging girlfriend ko at pinagbalakan nga naming pagkaperahan si Lovi at ang father niya. This really makes the character very interesting dahil hindi siya yung basta black and white. Maraming magiging developments sa kanya in the course of the story.”

Charee has asked for forgiveness from Lovi for maltreating her when they were still little children. Lovi forgives her, not knowing Charee, along with Rocco, has deceitful plans for her and her dad. Meantime, Liza Lorena, Lovi’s grandma as Beatrice, tells her son Gary that she’s allergic to Charee who she sees as a golddigger. Cesar Montano as Conrad also warns Lovi about Rocco, saying that Rocco doesn’t look trustworthy. But both Gary and Lovi won’t listen to the advice given to them.

Let’s see if Charee and Rocco would succeed in swindling them both. Meanwhile, Gloria Romero as Cristina, Cesar’s mom, boasts that her son has much better taste than Liza’s son Gary in choosing a girlfriend since Cesar’s inamorata is the classier Solenn Heussaff who will be seen here doing a sexy love scene with Cesar. This makes Liza Lorena very mad as she really doesn’t like Charee for Gary.
