Rocco Nacino To Help Cesar Montano In Raising Funds For Bohol Quake Victims

ROCCO NACINO shuttles back and forth on the sets of his GMA soap, “Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas”, and the Metro-Manila filmfest entry he’s shooting “San Pedro Calungsod”. Soon, he’s also doing a new TV show for a Singaporean TV company. He’s really so busy so all rumors that he’s making “bakod” or “bantay” to his “Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas” leading lady, Lovi Poe, are just mere speculations. “Wala rin akong time kahit gusto ko,” he says. “Sa dami ng trabaho ko, ni wala akong time mag-work out regularly like I used to do.”

Rocco is thankful that because of “Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas,” he and Cesar Montano, who plays the lawyer friend and protector of Lovi, have become good friends. “Kaya naiintindihan ko how he’s personally affected by the intensity 7.2 earthquake that devastated his home province, Bohol. He really cares for the Boholanos so I volunteered to participate sa fund-raising show na gagawin niya sa Teatrino Greenhills for the benefit of the earthquake victims in Bohol.”

In “Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas” this week, Lovi as Lovelia elopes with Rocco as Jerry, claiming to love him very much and she just wants to be happy before she dies because of her defective heart. Cesar Montano as Conrad calls up Lovi to tell her not to hesitate to contact him in case she needs his help. Lovi gets pregnant and the doctor advised her to abort the baby because of her heart condition.

In turn, Gary Estrada as Roel defies his mom Liza Lorena and takes home Charee Pineda as Agatha who he plans to marry because she claims to be also pregnant. Complications arise when Rocco and Lovi also came to live in the same mansion as Gary and Charee, when Rocco and Charee are the real lovers who have plans to deceive Lovi and Gary.
