“I know my husband, he’s not like that. If you have questions about Kiko, I’m sure he’ll be very capable of answering those questions after we arrive at the truth of the major issue that we have to be focusing on, which is the pork barrel scam, the scandal now. The real question here naman is saan napupunta ang PDAF mo as a senator? If it’s used correctly to help your kababayans, then, it’s good. Ang dami pa lalong matutulungan. Hindi magnanakaw ang asawa ko and I’ll stand by that.”
What’s Kiko’s reaction when she defended him? “Tumawa. He said, ‘Thank you sweetheart for your confidence in me, but you don’t have to defend me. Wag mo ng patulan ’yang mga ganyang issue. Wag ka na sumagot. Wala na nga ako sa office, e.’ And it’s true. So nag-sorry pa ako sa kanya.”
We also congratulated Sharon for her “The Mega and the Songwriter” with Ogie Alcasid. Last time we watched, we enjoyed Joey Albert as their first guest who sang “Iisa Pa Lamang” and Minsan Pa, Yakapin Mo Ako” with so much feeling. In the interview portion, Joey revealed that she’s now 45 years old, a cancer survivor, and her two daughters are now both grownups managing a day care school in Canada, where their family is based. The Mega and Songwriter is off to a good start but can stand some improvement.
They also had singer-composer Lara Maigue as their guest to sing the theme song “Sa’yo na Lang Ako” in “For Love or Money”, then lead star Derek Ramsay appeared and we didn’t know he could play the piano well. He then did a trio of “Every Breath You Take” with Sharon and Ogie. It was really an entertaining and relaxing episode, perfect for late Sunday nights.
Sharon is really at her best element when singing, so trying to make people laugh in “Madame Chairman”, that starts tonight at 7:30 PM, is a new challenge for her. “I assure viewers they’ll have a good time watching our show,” she says. “Panoorin lang nila ang first episode and they’ll be hooked.”
