“We’re happy to be given the chance to perform onstage to entertain Casino Filipino patrons,” says Ian Batherson who joined Starstruck 5 and Survivor Philippines. “We always give each show our best to prove we have what it takes to make it big in showbiz.”
Carlo is a much sought after TV commercial model. “Performing live on stage is a totally different ballgame and I’m enjoying it immensely,” he says.
Benj is both a cager and a model. “I’ve always been curious about acting and I think this is the best way for us na makilala ng tao.”
Kaye, an honor student at UST, is also a model who’s dreaming of branching out into showbiz. “Ibang challenge ng showbiz. At first, my mom was against it, but she now supports me all the way.”
“The Pagcor shows are a good training ground for all of us,” says PJ. “Dito nade-develop ang self confidence namin in facing the crowd and to show our talent to entertain people.”
Avery is best remembered for his unruly hairstyle. “But I’m willing to change it if the need arises as I’m serious in making a name in showbiz.”
As for Bon Jovi, he wants to excel not just in acting but also in hosting. “The Pagcor show helps me conquer my fears to prove I’m ready for showbiz.”
In the case of Maui, he’s glad to be in the company of his co-stars in Not Your Ordinary Boys and Girls. “The camaraderie is great, we’ve become good friends and we’re all learning together in our quest to make a name in showbiz.”
Their series of shows for October stars at Casino Filipino (CF) Pavilion tonight, October 5, then CF Tagaytay on October 11, Airport CF on October 19, CF Hyatt on October 24 and CF Angeles on October 26. Performing with them as special guests are Pagcor resident artists Hasad and Joyce, and Miss CF winner Loraine de Guzman with runners up Reynalyn Yamanouchi, Kimberly Pajares and Carin Adrianne Ramos.
