TV5 IS ALL set in helping the public this All Saints Day with their “Aksyon sa Undas”. A special Rescue 5 Emergency Response Unit will have 24-hour first-aid stations at public assistance desk at the Manila North at South Cemetery. They offer wheelchair assistance for senior citizens, blood pressure monitoring, drinking water station (in partnership with Maynilad), free emergency calls through Smart Communications and an electronic device charging, courtesy of One Meralco Foundation.
“True to our commitment to what we call ‘cause journalism’, Rescue 5 will not just deliver news but will also provide assistance to our Kapatids who will visit cemeteries. People may also call the Rescue 5 hotline 922-5155 for any emergency,” says TV5 Public Service Head Sherryl Yao.
