Aljur Abrenica Torn Between Kylie Padilla & Kris Bernal During His Concert

ALJUR ABRENICA has reason to rejoice because his “Come and Get Me” concert at the Music Museum last week was a well attended success despite the rains. GMA execs were there to show their support, along with his director, Dondon Santos, and co-stars in the hit primetime show, “Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko”. His Starstruck batchmate Jan Manual, who plays a gay role in “Prinsesa”, even went up on stage to give him flowers and kiss him. When Kris Bernal joined him on stage, the fans of their love team went wild.

The show proved that rumors he and Kylie Padilla have broken are simply not true because Kylie was there to support him and Aljur warmly acknowledged her presence. It was noticeable that Aljur and Kris were kind of guarded while they were on stage and some folks blamed Kylie’s presence for this.

“Honestly, gusto ko ngang umalis nung sila na para hindi sila mailang,” says Kylie. “But then, I got afraid na pag umalis ako, baka sabihin namang nag-walk out dahil nagseselos ako. Aljur sang tunes that are familiar to his audience, unlike other singers who dish out songs only they themselves know. He also included songs from the new album he’ll release soon. Guest star Rochelle Pangilinan’s dance number with him, where she nearly undresses him to show his hunky body, was very well applauded. It’s too bad that his younger brother Vin didn’t make it as one of the guests as he’s afflicted with dengue fever.

Aljur just got an important offer from Director Gil Portes for the movie, “O Maliwanag na Buwan” (to be released in English as “Moonlight in Baler” as it’ll be filmed on location in Baler, Quezon), but he’s scared to accept it right away as he’ll be required to play a dual role: one a Filipino who lived during World War II and another one a Japanese photographer in the present time. He wants to study it first to see if he could be credible in both roles.

Meantime, in “Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko”, Kris as Princess has discovered the truth that Aljur as Nick is her long lost childhood friend from the orphanage. She gets mad at him for not telling the truth right away. She searches for her mom and is crushed when she finds out the mother she never knew is already dead. But Carmi Martin is Eliza is jubilant about it as this is added publicity for Kris who’s their endorser for their mall. Aljur tries his best to explain his side to Kris and things get worse when they both get stuck inside a stranded elevator. He also gets a call from a woman who says she is his biological mom, Maritoni Fernandez as Tess.
