    Gov. Vilma Santos Has Lined Up Various Festivities To Celebrate The Foundation Day Of Batangas

    IN LINE with the Foundation Day of the province of Batangas, Gov. Vilma Santos offers a one-week celebration for Batanguenos starting today until December 8. They will have a trade fair and photo exhibit that aims to invite both domestic and foreign tourists to visit their beautiful province. There will also be a lighting of their Christmas trees and lantern.

    On December 5, there will be a beauty pageant to choose the Mutya ng Batangas to be held at the Batangas City Convention Center. There will also be a talent contest called Voices Song and Rhythms or VSR. The grand finals will be held on December 7 at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum. On the last day, December 8, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, there will be a Holy Mass to be followed by a dance and float parade in the streets of Batangas City.

    Gov. Vi is inviting all her kababayans and constituents to join their foundation celebrations to honour the Blessed Virgin and to affirm once more their unity for the progress of Batangas.
