Jennylyn Mercado Not Ready To Fall In Love Again After Breakup With Luis Manzano

JENNYLYN MERCADO went to Leyte to look for her missing relatives who live there. Forty of them have already come to Manila to seek her help but some of them are unaccounted for so she has to postpone the taping of her new soap, "Rhodora X", to attend to this pressing matter.

Jen talked to some members of the press before her departure and she says her heart goes out to her relatives because of their harrowing experiences caused by the devastating typhoon Yolanda. She was also asked about some personal issues and she denied ever having an affair with Sen. Bong Revilla.

"That was really foul kasi he's like a father figure to me," she says.
So there's really no third party involved in her breakup with Luis Manzano? "Wala talaga. Masakit ang breakup pero siempre, we have to move on at nakaka-move on naman ako. Mahirap lang nung umpisa."

But she doesn't seem adversely affected by the breakup since she looks so sexy and beautiful as ever? "Siempre naman, I have to take good care of myself. I have to be strong for my son and for the people na umaasa sa'kin, lalo ngayong may relatives akong affected ni Yolanda."

It's good GMA-7 is giving her lots of shows. "Thankful talaga ako sa GMA dahil right after natapos ang 'Anak Ko Yan' which I hosted, heto't dumating naman ang bago kong soap na 'Rhodora X' where I'm paired with Mark Herras and Mark Anthony Fernandez. And I still have a cooking show, 'Sarap Family', and 'Sunday All Stars' kaya trabaho ang focus ko as of now."

What about the speculations of some people that she and Mark might reconcile anew while doing 'Rhodora X'? "Naku, tigilan na natin yan. Ilang beses na kaming nagkapareha uli since we broke up years ago at talagang we're better off as friends na lang.
