Lovi says viewers will surely root and cheer for her now that her character, Lovelia, in the currently running GMA hit primetime soap, "Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas", is coming back with a vengeance after she was previously betrayed by the people she loved and trusted. First on her hit list of people to be punished is her stepsister, Agatha (Charee Pineda),who married Lovelia's father, Roel (Gary Estrada), plotting to steal their family's wealth. Then there's her husband Jerry (Rocco Nacino), who has actually learned to love her truthfully.
What's nice about the show is that Director Laurice Guillen is very meticulous in making sure that it doesn’t deteriorate into a nonsensical melodrama in which the plot meanders ludicrously and repetitiously. It remains moving at a fast paced so viewers will have no time to get bored.
For her part, Lovi is very happy with the reaction of the viewers with her revenge serye. "Whenever people see me in public place, they call me Lovelia which means they're enjoying watching 'Akin Pa rin ang Bukas'", says Lovi. "I feel overjoyed and contented with the audience's acceptance towards the show. But I'm even more very excited about their reaction on Lovelia now that my character is transformed to someone na palaban na at hindi na paaapi. I can hardly wait kung anong sasabihin nila."
"Akin pa Rin ang Bukas" airs week nights at 9:30 pm on GMA. The show also stars Cesar Montano, Solenn Heussaff, Liza Lorena, Jaclyn Jose and Miss Gloria Romero. This week, Cesar as Conrad will know from Solenn as Jade that Lovi is still alive and helps her. Charee orders someone to kill Liza Lorena as Donya Beatrice but her henchman didn't succeed. Lovi is deadset on avenging the death of her father Gary Estrada. Just as Charee is about to give birth, she gets the shock of her life when she sees Lovi still very much alive and kicking.
