MARIAN RIVERA’s next TV show will be titled “Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Ibabaw ng Lupa”. This information came from her own BF, Dingdong Dantes, who says it’ll be directed by Dominic Zapata whose last work was the hit “My Husband’s Lover”. One of the two leading men will be Alden Richards.
Dingdong will miss Marian when she goes to Vietnam this weekend to meet and greet her fans there. He says they have plenty of fans there, just like in Cambodia where their shows “Marimar”, “Dyesebel” and “Endless Love” are shown dubbed in the local language.
“When we went to Cambodia two years ago, we were so surprised dahil sa airport pa lang, ang dami ng nakakakilala sa amin,” he says. “Akala namin, mga Filipino silang nagtatrabaho roon. Yun pala, native Cambodians. We didn’t have an inkling na pinalalabas pala roon ang shows namin. Ang tawag sa kanya, Marimar, at ang tawag sa’kin, Fredo, my name in Dyesebel. We’re supposed to visit various temples pero dahil nagkakagulo sa mga pinupuntahan namin, Angkor Wat lang ang nadalaw namin at hindi na kami nakapunta sa ibang temples. Well, it’s nice to know na nabebenta pala ang mga local programs natin sa ibang bansa, just like the Koreanovelas being shown here sa atin.”
