About the Freddie Aguilar affair, she says she has nothing against it. “As long as they respect each other at wala naman silang tinatapakang tao, I don’t see anything wrong with it.”
The showing of “Gaydar”, the movie where she plays a starring role for the first time, is perfect for her birthday as it opens on November 13. And since her birthday falls on a Sunday, she’d probably busy promoting “Gaydar” on various TV shows on that day. Any plans with Vic?
“Wala pa. He’s now so busy shooting ‘My Little Bossings’ with Kris Aquino, Bimby and Ryzza Mae Dizon for the filmfest. What I really want to do is to hold a party for the kiddie patients sa ChildHaus. It’s my way of giving back kasi ang dami ko namang blessings na natatanggap sa buhay ko.”
She might not know it but Vic is said to be planning to take her to Macau to watch the latest fight of Manny Pacquiao as part of his gift for her. Is Pauleen also part of Vic’s Metro filmfest movie?
“May special participation daw ako. It’s the line producer who asked me to do it, not Vic. One scene lang daw. His other family members, may cameo rin sa movie.”
In “Gaydar”, she plays the role of a young woman who has very poor “gay radar” in detecting if a man she fancies is gay or not. Here, she’s secretly in love with Tom Rodriguez, but she’s not sure if he swishes, so friends give her tips on how to find out if Tom is bading or not, resulting in some very funny complications. The hilarious romantic-comedy is directed by Alvin Yapan of the award-winning “Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa”.
