Our bet in the Miss Universe Pageant that will be held in Russia this Saturday night (early Sunday morning in Manila), Ariella Arida, who turns 25 on November 20, won the Ice Princess title in the Glam Shoot preliminaries. She bested the 85 other candidates, with Spain, Great Britain, South Africa and Australia as her runners up. Glam shoot photographer Fadil Berisha says: “Ara Arida transformed from her exotic sultry look into a high class fashion model. From her frizzy mane to her pout and down to her skin stone, Ara Arida is a force to be reckoned with as she can transform into different looks as long as she wishes. She’s now a major favorite for the crown and if she continues to wow the judges, she could be the next to wear the Nexus crown.”
Let’s see if she’d really bring home the country’s 3rd Miss Universe crown, last won by Margarita Moran nearly 40 years ago.
