“Despite the controversies, I still consider it a good year,” she says. “You can even say it ended with a bang. To those who supported me, especially my friends in showbiz who stood by me and understood me, thank you very much. But to those who bashed me, God bless you na lang po. I’ve definitely moved on and I’m ready to face the new year with so much optimism and energy. I’m sure it will be a good, no, a great year for me. Hello, 2014!”
It’s Christmastime and she’s all set to enjoy it with her family and with BF Erwan Heussaff. No more nasty intrigues and she’s now ready for bigger projects for 2014, like the movie she is shooting with Cristine Reyes for Viva, “The Gifted”, where they play the best of friends and enemies who’ve been rivals since high school, directed by Chris Martinez. And since her first concert at the Big Dome was a success in January 2013, there are plans to have a new concert this coming new year in the same venue.
Is it true she’ll be the one to play “Dyesebel” in ABS-CBN’s latest reincarnation of the late Mars Ravelo’s beloved mermaid? “Nothing is definite. I think pumipili pa sila kung sino talaga ang pinakabagay. Basta ako, I’m ready for anything. Let’s just all be positive.”
