Well, they need not worry anymore as JLC will be back with a vengeance in not just one but two new movie projects on the big and small screen. His new movie with Star Cinema is "You're My Home", which will pair him Jessy Mendiola, also with Richard Gomez, Gretchen Barretto, Shaina Magdayao and Enchong Dee in the cast. On TV, he has a new sitcom with Toni Gonzaga, tentatively titled "Home Sweetie Home". As you can see, both projects have the word "Home" in them, if they won't be changed at the last minute.
Meantime, JLC keeps quiet about his involvement in Anne Curtis' going berserk during a party she was hosting at the Prive Club in the Fort. Anne already admitted she was drunk when she displayed her scandalous behavior slapping JLC and two other non-showbiz persons, then telling JLC: "You're an addict". At first, it was thought she ran amuck because she was intoxicated but now, it has become clear that it was JLC and another actor, Jake Cuenca, who triggered her subsequently wild behavior.
While Anne was in the toilet, JLC and Jake kept on banging at the door as a joke. Their incessant banging no doubt annoyed Anne and when she came out, she slapped JLC and said she can buy the club itself. JLC apologised and Anne has accepted it. But Jake has declared in social media that he's not guilty and was not involved in the banging incident.
Anne has already said sorry to everyone (including her fans) on twitter but bashers continue to hit her and make fun of her, even comparing her to Janet Napoles and Dionisia Pacquiao. Personally, we don't think we should be that harsh in blaming her as she must have been so annoyed by all the banging and the harassment she got while inside the restroom. The fact that she issued an apology right away and admitted her mistake also shows humility on her part.
She's now being bashed in social media, but this is not surprising since these bashers usually enjoy going to town in hitting celebrities the moment they see a reason to do so. But will Anne's career be affected by it? We don't think so. This will quickly pass. She and John Lloyd have patched things up and Viva and Star Cinema even have plans of pairing them in a new movie next year as they've never worked together before.
