Miss Beauche Runner Up Alyssa Ashley Admits She Comes From A Poor, Broken Family

AT THE PARTY for the press of Beauche International, three of the five winners in their recent beauty pageant, Miss Beauche International, showed up to meet the press also: winner Anne Ubando from Dagupan, 2nd runner up Alyssa Ashley Calimlim from Baguio and 3rd runner up Lynne de Mesa from Quezon City. We asked them all to provide us more information about themselves but only one complied, Alyssa. The other two are not as friendly so maybe Beauche owner Madam Che de los Reyes should teach them on how to improve their PR.

Alyssa is a 3rd year college student at Saint Louis University in Baguio. “I belong to a broken family,” she admits. “My mom is an OFW in Italy, but right now, she can't support us financially coz she’s jobless. The reason why I’m joining pageants is I really want to support myself in pursuing whatever I want to do. I started earning on my own when I was in my 4th year high school. I joined a pageant and that was the first time I spent my prize for my studies. It felt good, that is why I keep on joining very often. We don’t even own the house we are living in right now. I was the class valedictorian in grade school and also the top 1 in high school. I’m optimistic that one day, I can get our own house for my family.”
Here’s hoping Alyssa will be able to fulfill all her dreams in the near future.
