THE GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS, forerunner of the Oscars, have released their nominations and sadly, none of the three films involving our country (“Transit”, “Iloilo”, “Metro-Manila”) didn’t make it to the final five nominees in the best foreign language film category. Those who are lucky enough to make it are: “Blue Is The Warmest Color” (about a lesbian relationship which is the favorite and has created a lot of stir in Cannes) (France), “The Great Beauty” (Italy), “The Hunt” (Denmark), “The Past” (Iran) at “The Wind Rises” (Japan).
