Bimby Yap, Kris' son, usually gets jealous when he sees a guy getting close and feeling cozy with his mom. But not so in the case of Vic.
"Because I know he already has a girlfriend," he says. "Si Pauleen (Luna)."
Vic was then asked if he's planning to marry Pauleen and he admits he have such plans. "Parati naming nandiyan ang ganyang mga plano sa buhay. You don't get into a relationship dahil trip mo lang kundi meron lang long term plans. Hindi ko puede sabihing we don't have plans to settle down in the future. Kung may definite plans na, you'll be the first to know."
Vic says he takes his hat off to Kris when it comes to raising her two sons. "Maganda ang pagpapalaki niya sa mga bata. Masunurin sila sa kanya at parehong mapagmahal."
Some people think Kris is too much of a stage mother who even got a personal stylist for Bimby in "My Little Bossings" and even requests their director, Marlon Rivera, for more closeups of her son. What can he say about this? "Okay lang sa'kin kasi doon mo makikita how much she loves her son, how valuable he is to her. She sets a good example for other mothers at hindi naman nakakairita o nakakaabala sa shooting ang ginagawa niya. Planado na kasi lahat ng ginagawa namin as based on the script of Bibeth Orteza, kaya she also knows when to give the right suggestions."
What does he think of Bimby as a neophyte child actor? "He learns fast. I'm really excited to work with him and Ryzza Mae Dizon as they're both very talented. Maganda ang combination nils dito sa movie in both the comic scenes and even in the dramatic scenes. I'm sure they'll both gain a lot more fans pagkatapos ipalabas ang pelikula namin."
Kris herself says Ryzza has a positive influence on her son. "Natuto si Bimby how to mix with other people dahil kay Ryzza. He speaks only in English but dahil kay Ryzza, marunong na siya ngayon pati ng po at opo."
