Why Sam Milby's Kiss Is The Best For Eugene Domingo

EUGENE DOMINGO is celebrating her 23rd anniversary in showbiz this year. She has really come a long way from her first movie role as the housemaid in “Emma Salazar Case” (1990) which starred Alice Dixson. It was Director Joey Reyes who plucked from her from the theatre world in UP to make her join the movies. Since then, Uge has kissed so many leading men: Dingdong Dantes, Richard Gutierrez, Diether Ocampo, Zanjoe Marudo, Jake Cuenca, Paulo Avelino, Wendell Ramos, Ricky Davao, Edgar Allan Guzman, Ogie Alcasid, among others.

But for her, no kiss is more special than the one she had with Sam Milby, her leading man in the Metro-Manila filmfest entry, “Kimmy Dora, Ang Kiyemeng Prequel”. “Whew! It’s the best kiss ever,” she says. “Ironically, hindi siya sa lips. Aminin n’yo, kayong mga babae, hindi naman lahat ng best kiss ay sa labi. Grabe! Pagkatapos ng eksena napasigaw ako ng ‘Woohoo! The best.’”

And guess where Sam kissed her: on the inside of her thigh while they’re on the beach. As Kimmy, she was bitten by a jelly fish on her thigh and Sam has to not just kiss it but suck it as well, to get rid of the toxin. But her other character, Dora, her twin, pretends that she’s drowning and Sam has to rush to her and resuscitate her by kissing her on the mouth.

“’Kimmy Dora, Ang Kiyemeng Prequel’ is what we call the ultimate comic-sci-fi porn,” adds Uge. “Wag kayong mag-aalala roon sa porn. Ang ibig ko lang sabihin, Parental Guidance po kami according to the MTRCB. So, please bring your family, friends and the whole barkada. This is really fun and the most amazing Kimmy Dora in the series dahil napasabak din kami rito ni Sam in so many slambang action scenes. We also use the latest in technology, a robotic camera, kaya you’d see the two different roles I play interacting together on screen, seamlessly. Para talagang dalawang tao talaga ako.”

“Kimmy Dora” does not involved any top network in its production, so you don’t see their trailer being shown on TV. “But you can watch it on youtube sa social media. Kasi, if you can remember, ’yung first Kim­my Dora namin talagang sa social network kami kumapit at saka sa word of mouth. And it did well kahit wala kaming TV trailers. So we’re hoping ganun din ang mangyari uli this time. And the followers of ‘Kimmy Dora’ who have seen the first and two movies, sigurado nang manonood din sila nito to find out more about Kimmy Dora’s latest hilarious antics. Then by word of mouth, hopefully, more people will be interested to watch it. Pero nagpapasalamat din ako sa GMA-7. Dahil I have two shows with them, ‘Celebrity Bluff’ and ‘Delmonte Kitchenomics’, they allow me to promote ‘Kimmy Dora’ in their network.”
