Alma Moreno Admits She's Now Estranged From Muslim Husband Mayor Fahad Salic

WHEN WE last interviewed Winwyn Marquez, she said she wasn’t sure about the status of her mom Alma Moreno’s marriage to latest husband Marawi Mayor Fahad Salic. In “Startalk”, Alma finally revealed that she and the mayor have had no communication at all for one year now.

“But we’re not really separated yet kasi valid pa rin yung Muslim wedding namin at may civil wedding din kami,” she says tearfully. “So hangga’t hindi na-annul yun, I can’t claim na separated na talaga kami and single na ako.”

What happened to them? “Hindi kami nagkagalit Sobrang magkalayo lang kami. He’s in Mindanao, nandito ko sa Manila. Hindi naman pwedeng dun na lang ako, laging nakatabi sa kanya dahil hindi ko puedeng pabayaan ang tungkulin ko as councilor in Paranaque.”

Does she intend to file for formal annulment? “Hindi ko pa iniisip yun as of now sa dami ng work ko rito. At saka na lang siguro.”

Is she willing to act again? “Why not? Kung may maganda bang offers and okay ang role. But I’m happy my sons Mark Anthony and Vandolph and my daughter Winwyn are all active ngayon at may kanya-kanyang shows.”
