G Toengi Back In GMA-7 After Doing Soaps With TV5 & ABS-CBN

G TOENGI is back with GMA-7 in “Paraiso Ko’y Ikaw” as Regine, the real mother of Kristoffer Martin as Tupe. She becomes the business rival of Gabby Eigenmann, who plays the real dad of Kim Rodriguez as Josephine. G left Manila in 2000 and studied acting in New York and got a college degree in communications in California. She appeared in two plays, “Saved by the Bell” and “Days When Cocaine was King”.

She married Tim Walters in 2005. Now 35 years old, she is mother to two kids, Kenobi Benjamin and Sakura Anne. When she came back, she did “Nandito Ako” for TV5 in 2012 and “Aryana” for ABS-CBN. She also did some plays, like “Piaf”. In “Paraiso Ko’y Ikaw”, she’s glad to be reunited with Janno Gibbs, with whom she did the GMA sitcom “Beh Bote Nga” in 1999, where she played the genie in a bottle.

“Janno will play Badong,” says G. “Siya yung magpapalaki sa anak kong si Tupe pagkatapos na magkahiwalay kami after a big accident. Kung dati, nagpapatawa kami ni Janno sa sitcom, magdadrama naman kami ngayon.”
