IZA CALZADO looks so slim and fit at the presscon of “Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon” where she plays Dina Bonnevie’s daughter. She just came home from a long holiday with Fil-Aussie BF Ben Wyntle abroad and is glad to be working again. Her last soap, “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan” was shown almost a year ago and all she did since then is do guestings in shows like “MMK”, “Toda Max” and “Muling Buksan ang Puso”.

“Hopefully, I’ll be more active in 2014,” she says. “I’ve finished a movie, ‘Mga Kuwentong Barbero’, that has already been shown in international filmfest, and I’ve also completed all my scenes in the Piolo Pascual-Toni Gonzaga movie, ‘Unlove You’. Dapat sana, ang gagawin kong soap, ‘You are My Home’ with Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta, pero biglang na-shelved. Nakaka-miss gumawa ng teleserye so happy akong kasama ko ngayon in ‘Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon’ as I really admire Bea Alonzo. I’m excited to work with her kasi magaling na siya, mabait pa. I’m thankful to Dreamscape Entertainment for including me in the cast at sana’y talagang challenging ang role na ipagagawa nila sa’kin.”

Aside from this, she will also start hosting soon the new season of “The Biggest Loser”. “So, mukhang magiging busy talaga ako ngayong bagong taon,” she beams.

So is she and Ben planning to walk down the aisle anytime soon? “Naku, malayo pa yun. I’m so busy with work. Ito muna ang focus ko as of now.”
