Jennylyn Mercado's Final Word On Ex- Bf's Luis Manzano & Mark Herras

JENNYLYN MERCADO is jubilant over the positive feedback the first few episodes of her “Rhodora X” is getting. “Lahat ng nakapanood, they tell me they find the story of a woman with a split personality really engrossing, kasi naiiba talaga from the usual soaps,” she says. “Curious na raw sila how I will interpret yung Rhodora/Roxanne character na totally opposite ang personalities. Lalabas na ako mamayang gabi as the grownup character and I hope hindi sila ma-disappoint sa magiging performance ko.”

Her ex-BF Luis Manzano is now chummy with ex-GF Angel Locsin. How about her, is she now also closer once more with ex-BF Mark Herras after they’ve worked anew in “Rhodora X”?

“Ang dami talaga nagtatanong niyan: magbabalikan din ba kayo ni Mark? Ang sagot ko: Mark and I have a special friendship kasi sampung taon na kaming magkasama mula nang mag-start kami sa ‘Starstruck’. Pag friendship, mas tatagal yan, di ba? Pero kung romantic relationship, we can never tell kung ano mangyayari. So I prefer na maging friends na lang kami ni Mark dahil gusto ko, maging forever yung friendship namin. Ayokong mawala yun. And like I said, wala akong binabalikan sa mga ex ko, kaya nga ako si Rhodora X,” she laughs.
Did she somehow feel hurt when she heard Angel saying she still loves Luis? “Anuman ang issue about them, I don’t think I’m in a position para magsalita. Out na ako diyan. Sila na lang ang tanungin nyo. Ang focus ko ngayon is ‘Rhodora X’, gusto ko mag-rate ito nang husto. At enjoy naman ako doing my two different roles na ang isa, kimi, tahimik, at yung isa, agresibo, mahadera, palaban.”
