She misses doing prestige indie films like “Sisa” (for which she won her first acting award) and “Aparisyon” (where she played a young nun). “But I don’t have the time to do movies now as I’m so focused with ‘Please Be Careful’ na hindi namin alam kung kailan matatapos.”
Jodi is the new face of Flawless for their new campaign, Alagang Flawless. Does this mean she’ll replace Lorna Tolentino and other faces of Flawless? “No,” says Flawless CEO Rubby Sy. “She’s the latest addition specially for Alagang Flawless. “As a young mom and a successful career woman, she’s everything the campaign stands for. And everyone loves her portrayal of Maya in ‘Please Be Careful’. It shows her as a very caring individual and we want people to know that Flawless is a brand that cares for people to realize the most beautiful expression of themselves.”
“I’m happy to be part of the Flawless family,” says Jodi. “It was late last year that I started going to their clinic. Alagang flawless talaga sila kasi you have your own disposable kit na sa’yo lang talaga. I love their facials kasi hindi namumula ang mukha mo. Para ka ngang hindi nag-facial but you come out feeling so refreshed. I also avail of their slimming procedure for my tummy to get rid of unwanted fats. One session lang, one inch agad ang naalis sa akin.”
Will she recommend Flawless to Jolo? “Of course, I’ll recommend it to everyone.”
