Mother Lily Says Regal Will Be More Active In Making Movies This Year

MOTHER LILY Monteverde says her movie company, Regal Entertainment, will be very active in producing more movies this coming 2014. She got Manny Valera to line produce several movies for her and Manny has tapped many indie directors to pitch projects for Regal. One of those he got is Ian Lorenos, director of the acclaimed indie films “Alagwa” (which won awards for Jericho Rosales and Bugoy Carino) and “Saturday Night Chills” (which won awards for Rayver Cruz, Matteo Guidicelli, Joseph Marco). Ian’s first project would be an edgy love story that would involved drugs and we heard Mother Lily wants Marian Rivera to star in it.

Then Aloy Adlawan will be directing anew for mainstream films in “Third Eye”, a horror-thriller to star Carla Abellana, who’s also slated to do “Let’s Take a Chance”, a romantic-comedy with her “My Husband’s Lover” co-star, Tom Rodriguez.
