Ogie will go solo on a 3-night concert at the Music Museum entitled “Samahang Walang Ka-Valentine” on February 13, 14 and 15, with Solenn Heussaff as his guest and with Ryan Cayabyab no less as his musical director. Ogie also starts taping his new show, “Confessions of a Torpe” on TV5, to replace “The Gift”. His co-stars are Alice Dixson, Wendell Ramos, Pilita Corrales, Mark Neumann, Chanel Morales, Jojo Alejar and Gelli de Belen. But even if Ogie and Regine have separate Valentine concerts and belong to different TV stations, they continue to help promote each other’s shows.
Meantime, at the PICC Concert Hall on February 13 and 14, it’ll be a big reunion concert for former members of New Minstrels and the Circus Band: Basil Valdez, Hajji Alejandro, Chad Borja, Tillie Moreno, Joey Albert, Jaqui Magno, Eugene Villaluz, Ray-An Fuentes, Ding Mercado, Louie Reyes and Pat Castillo. Entitled “We Got the Love”, this will also be shown in SMX Convention Center in Davao City on February 15. For tickets, call Ticketnet, SM Tickets, Viva Live at 687-7236 and PICC Office at 789-4734.
