What Nora Aunor Has To Say About People Saying Coco Martin Is Her Male Version

NORA AUNOR’S film with Coco Martin, “Padre de Pamilya”, will have its last shooting day on Monday. Doesn’t she mind that it’s Coco who plays the title role? “Okay lang,” she says. “Basta ang importante, maganda ang role ko. Naiiba. Napakabait.

Some folks call Coco as the male version of Nora Aunor. What can she say about this? “Oo naman. Mahusay siya. Mana sa ina,” she points to herself. “Sa husay niya, akong na-take two sa eksenang nagsasagutan kami. Nakakatuwa siyang katrabaho. Masayahin. Tawa lang ng tawa. Nawawala ang mga mata.”

Direk Adolf says: “Nakakatuwa silang panoorin when they act together. Akala mo, mag-ina talaga sila.

“Padre de Pamilya” is one of the four films of Ate Guy for this year. She has also finished “When I Fall in Love”, her reunion flick with Tirso Cruz III, directed by Joel Lamangan. She has started “Dementia” with Jasmine Curtis Smith, directed by Perci Intalan. And she’ll also shoot “Hustisya”, a Cinemalaya entry for Joel Lamangan again. “I also have a new series sa TV5, ‘Trenderas’, tungkol sa mga baguhang singer na nagte-trending sa youtube, so magiging very busy ako this year,” adds Ate Guy.
