Alex Medina Nominated As Best Actor But He's Realistic Enough To Say Someone Else Would Win

ALEX MEDINA is nominated as best actor in some award giving bodies for his effective portrayal of an internet scammer in “Babagwa”, but he’s not expecting to win. “Para namang malayo akong manalo e nandiyan si Joel Torre who gives to very good performances last year in ‘On the Job’ and ‘Kabisera’,” says.

He now does a mainstream movie, the horror film “Third Eye” for Regal Entertainment, and he’s glad to be working with co-actors from the two top networks: Carla Abellana, Camille Prats from GMA and Ejay Falcon, Denise Laurel from ABS-CBN. “Siempre kabado ako noong una kasi akong pinakabago sa kanila, but they all turned out to be nice to work with, pati na si Direk Aloy Adlawan na ngayon ko rin lang nakatrabaho.”

What’s his role? “I play Camille Prats’ husband.
