ABS-CBN IS ALL set to premiere no less than four new shows in March so they’ll be hosting a lot of presscons this week to introduce them. Coco Martin and Kim Chiu will topbill the first of the new shows, “Ikaw Lamang”, with Jake Cuenca, Julia Montes and Cherry Pie Picache. Shot on location in the sugar cane fields of Bacolod, this will start airing on March 10 on Primetime Bida to replace Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s “Got to Believe”.
The other shows that will start in March are “Dyesebel” starring Anne Curtis, Sam Milby and Gerald Anderson; “Sana ay Ikaw na Nga” with Bea Alonzo, Albert Martinez and Paulo Avelino; and “Mira Bella”, the launching soap of Julia Barretto with Sam Concepcion and Enrique Gil.
If and when “Dyesebel” would start earlier than GMA-7’s similar sirenaserye, “Kambal Sirena” starring Louise de los Reyes and Aljur Abrenica, then they would definitely have another edge aside from having a bigger star in the lead. “Kambal Sirena” will replace “Adarna” on March 10. We think it should have begun airing in February as an early start would surely give it some advantage as viewers would have already established a bond with their show by the time “Dyesebel” starts. We hope, though, that it’s still not too late.
