How Jennylyn Mercado & Yasmien Kurdi Got Their X Marks In 'Rhodora X'

BOTH JENNYLYN MERCADO and Yasmien Kurdi are elated that their new drama series, “Rhodora X”, went trending as number one in Twitter when it debuted on the air. To give in to the request of their fans, GMA-7 is now re-showing the whole pilot week of “Rhodora X” this Sunday morning, just before “Sunday All Stars”.

It starts with Rhodora being kidnapped by a syndicate who sells body parts of children. Rhodora escapes and is taken care of by Irma Adlawan as Vivian, who becomes a psychiatrist. 16 yeas pass. A gardener tries to rape Rhodora (now Jennylyn Mercado) and marks her chest with an ugly X scar.

Meantime, her sister Angela is now played by Yasmien Kurdi and becomes engaged to a shipyard magnate, Mark Herras as Joaquin. This is the time that Rhodora reappears in their lives, already with a split personal as Rhodora and Roxanne. Eventually, the two sisters will be fighting with each other because of the vindictive Roxanne who’d also mark Yasmien’s face with an ugly X mark.
