KEVIN SANTOS got noticed for playing gay roles in various soaps, the last of which was "My Husband's Lover". He is a ward of writer Joe Barrameda and he's that he now does more conventional roles in his current assignments. He plays a big role in the horror flick, “Basement”, as a burly truck driver who gets trapped inside the parking basement of a mall along with his assistant, Betong Sumaya.
“Na-flat kasi ang gulong ng truck namin so hindi na kami nakalabas until all the gates were locked and all of us who got stranded inside because of a typhoon are killed one by one by a mysterious creature,” he says. “We provide the comic relief habang nagkakatakutan sa ibang characters dahil sa kulitan namin ni Betong.”
Aside from “Basement”, he’s also in the new GMA-7 afternoon soap, “The Borrowed Wife” and he has also started a new movie for Regal Entertainment, “Let’s Take a Chance”, with Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez. “Kaya lagari talaga ako these days sa taping at sa shooting. It’s really nice to be this busy.”
