She posted on James birthday: “Happy Birthday James. Peace, harmony & God's blessings to you... I am a mom who has learned to set aside past hurts & I’ve learned how to move on w/ God's grace because I want my sons to be well adjusted & positive. And that starts w/ my example. #peace #maturity.”
Then, in her show with Boy, she announced: “Bimby told me something wonderful kanina. Sabi niya, ‘Mama, because you brought me all my games, I want you to be happy, you can already have a boyfriend but no breaking up’. Ang cute, di ba? Yung six-year-old, gusto na talaga ng kaligayahan para sa parehong magulang. Pero yun lang ang hinihingi niya, huwag n’yong guluhin ha? Kung papasok kayo sa relasyon, make sure it’s for keeps.”
Then in her morning show, she announced the next day that she’s been dumped by a prospective suitor who’s supposed to be very rich: “Yeah, it hurts. Kasi ako yung nasabihan ng, ‘I never want to talk to you or text you for the rest of my life.’ That’s life. Kung pwede ko lang talaga ma-rewind o ma-edit kung ano yung nangyari. Kina-shock ko talaga yun. Sabi ko, ‘Ouch, how harsh.’ Pero at least 'di ba, walang lokohan.”
She said she felt sad for only one day and was able to quickly recover. “Kagabi ipinagdasal ko talaga, ‘Don’t let me be bitter, God.’ Sinabi ng ate ko kagabi, ‘Well, he had a courage to take you out and like you so that’s why malakas din ang loob niya to tell you na ayaw na niya sa iyo.’ Reality. Sabi ng ate ko, ‘If he doesn’t like my sister he’s not good enough for my sister.’ Sabi ko, ‘Tama, ate.’ Tapos sabi ko, ‘Ate ’di man lang pinaabot sa birthday ko. Nakakainis. Doon ako buwisit na buwisit talaga.”
Like we said, she really knows how to be talked about.
