Maricel Soriano And Lovi Poe Will Be Rivals Over Dingdong Dantes In ‘Dalawang Mrs. Real’

MARICEL SORIANO formally signed up with GMA-7 to do a love triangle soap with Dingdong Dantes and Lovi Poe. The title is “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real”. Dingdong is not included in the title but obviously, he’s the bigamous husband with two wives, one much older than him and the other, younger than him. This will be directed by Andoy Ranay, who megged the hit “Mundo Mo’y Akin”.

Previous to this, Maricel was supposed to do a soap with ABS-CBN, “Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin”, but it was aborted when she had a very personal falling out with co-star Gerald Anderson who’s supposed to play her son. Her role went to Dawn Zulueta and she instead went on to do two movies co-produced by Viva and Star Cinema, “Momzillas”, and the filmfest entry “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy” for which she unexpectedly even won the best actress award.

Maricel also has a new movie coming up with Viva, Bob Ong’s “Lumayo Ka Nga sa Akin”, with Anne Curtis and Heart Evangelista. Here’s hoping her television comeback via GMA-7 will be smooth and hassle free this time. This is not the first time she appears with them as she previously did a short stint in “Pilyang Kerubin” with Barbie Forteza.
