TV5's Series About Local Cagers, 'The Road To Spain, Kuwentong Gilas', Starts Airing Tonight At 8

AVID BASKETBALL fans should not miss “The Road to Spain” that begins airing tonight, February 17, at 8 PM with the very first episode of Kwentong Gilas, the sports documentary that gives us the real drama behind the lives of your favorite Gilas Pilipinas player. The first episode of the 30-minute weekly show will throw viewers back to the FIBA Asia Championship that happened in August, as narrated by Freddie Webb.
“This is the very first time that Kapatid viewers will be given the real life drama of Gilas Pilipinas – their journey – the struggle and triumph – that led to the success of the team. We will be able to tell the full story and provide an in-depth perspective of their practice sessions, game preparation, and most especially their personal lives,” said Chot Reyes, Head of Sports5.
