ABBAMANIA, will do a series of shows in the Philippines this month

ABBAMANIA, the acclaimed ABBA tribute group from Europe that is the closest thing to a true ABBA experience, will do a series of shows in the Philippines this month in response to the massive demand from ABBA-loving Pinoys to bring them back after their successful concert series last year.

A production of Viva Live Inc. and Redstone Media Productions, “Abbamania” will start at the Solaire Grand Ballroom of Solaire Resorts & Casinos on Friday, March 21 and at the PICC Plenary Hall on March 22, 2014, at the Baguio Country Club on March 25, at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on March 27, at the L.L. Macias Sports & Cultural Center in Dumaguete on March 28, and at the Lagao Gym in Gen. Santos City on March 30.

Formed in 1998, Abbamania is composed of Ewa Scott, a classically trained vocalist from Poland; Sharon Fehlberg an actress- songwriter from the UK; Steven Galert, their musical director; Adam Robertson, a multi-instrumentalist from the UK; guitarist Bryan Smith and Gareth Whitehead; and drummer Lee Brady.

AbbaMania will have audiences dancing in the aisles with songs like “Money Money,” “Take A Chance On Me,” “One Last Summer,” “The Winner Takes It All,” “Knowing Me Knowing You,” “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight),” “Does Your Mother Know,” “The Name of the Game,” “Honey Honey,” “I Do I Do I Do I Do I Do,” “Our Last Summer,” “Thank You For the Music” and many more.
