Aljur Abrenica Undergoes Training As An Expert Driver For 'Kambal Sirena'

ALJUR ABRENICA has become an expert diver because of his training for “Kambal Sirena” that will replace "Adarna" starting Monday night. “Without any diving apparatus kundi snorkel at flippers lang, I can go down to as deep as 20 feet under water,” he says. “Maraming beses na akong sumisid. Hindi ko na mabilang and it’s always an incredible experience!”

Someone quipped: “Magaling ka sigurong sumisid kahit sa walang tubig.” He only responded with a laugh. “Basta, importanteng magaling sumisid dito sa show namin kasi maraming underwater scenes. All of us who are involved sa show, ang iniisip namin is kung ano ang kaya na­ming ibigay sa ikagaganda ng show. Kasi, binigyan ka na ni Lord ng ganitong opportunity. Gusto lang Niya na you make the most out of it, para mas pagandahin mo pa ‘yung project na ibinigay Niya.”

Aljur plays Kevin, a resort owner, in “Kambal Sirena”, the son of Lotlot de Leon who becomes the object of affection of the twins Alona and Perlas, both played by Louise de los Reyes. Is it true he had a recent fight with GF Kylie Padilla because of his kissing scenes with Louise?

“Hindi naman. Naiintindihan naman namin ang requirements ng trabaho namin. Hindi rin naman ako nagselos ng may kissing sila ni Geoff Eigenmann sa ‘Adarna’.”
