BIANCA KING turned 28 last Tuesday, March 18. Her gift to herself is a vacation in Canada where her parents reside and the States where her non-showbiz BF is currently studying. But before she leaves this weekend, she made sure she has finished taping all her remaining episodes for TV5’s intriguing psycho-drama, “Obsession”. What’s her birthday wish? “Good health, especially for my parents, and more projects,” she says.
How is it maintaining a long-distance relationship with her BF? “Okay naman. With the technology today, it’s so easy to maintain communication through cellfone, skype, internet. Ang importante, hindi nawawala yung trust ninyo sa isa’t isa. Basta happy naman kami and we know, yung pag-aaral niya abroad, parang investment yun for him for a better future.”
Her role in “Obsession” has become more difficult since she now plays dual roles as Vanessa and Bernadette. The mad doctor Ramon (Marvin Agustin) who’s obsessed with Vanessa held her captive in his mansion and takes advantage of her repeatedly. Ramon also succeeds on operating on his fugitive mother (Elizabeth Oropesa) to also change her face. Martin Escudero as James makes his own investigation and is able to track down Ramon in his mansion. Since Vanessa is obsessively in love with James, Ramon will ask the doctors working for him to also operate on his face so that he will get to look like James. As such, Martin Escudero will now also be playing dual roles as James and Ramon. Don’t miss this intriguing episode of “Obsession” tonight at 8, directed by Jay Altarejos.
