Enrique Gil About Something Romantic Developing Between Him & Julia Barretto: 'Everything Is Possible'

ENRIQUE GIL is turning 22 on March 30. He says he has a lot to be thankful for because his career is doing well. After “Muling Buksan ang Puso”, he’s now the leading man of Julia Barretto in “Mira Bella” that starts airing on March 24. On the big screen, he was just seen in the big hit, “She’s the One”. How will he celebrate his coming birthday and what’s his birthday wish?

“May big celebration ako sa ASAP and then my family will be coming from Spain so we can celebrate together,” he says. “My wish is tanggapin sana ng viewers ang team up namin ni Julia Barretto.”

Is there a possibility their love will develop into something more serious? “Everything is possible. Puwede naman talaga ma-develop. Kasi kapag may loveteam kayo at magkasama kayo lagi sa trabaho, sa mga eksena, lalo kayong nagiging close. You get to know the person more. So, puwede talagang maging more serious. But right now, bago pa lang ang lahat, e. Although we’ve been taping for three months na, hindi pa namin napi-feel ‘yung tagal. So, parang tuwing nagkikita kami sa set, may nalalaman ako sa kanya, may nakikita ako. So, parang doon pa lang sa stage na ‘yon. Getting closer as friends pa lang.”

What does he like best in Julia? “Masaya siyang kasama, laging nakatawa and I like her dimple. Naging comfortable kami agad sa isa’t isa. I was informed na ako’ng magiging leading man niya right after my Araneta concert, ‘King of the Gil’. I was really excited kasi first fantaserye ko rin ito. I play the role of Jeremy, who’s blind. Kaya kahit nilalait siya ng ibang tao for her ugly appearance dahil parang wood ang skin niya, hindi ko nakikita yun kaya naging mag-best friend kami. Sa story, pareho kaming walang pamilya. Nakikitira ako sa tita ko at siya naman, inampon nina Pokwang and John Lapus, kaya we understand each other.”
