He was asked about his reaction on Kris Aquino’s statement that she wished he’d find more time to bond with their son Bimby as the boy needs a paternal figure. “Gusto ko nga, e, kahit araw-araw,” he says. “Kaya lang, once a week lang ang binigay nila sa’kin para dalawin ko ang anak ko. Kaya tuwing magkikita kami, I make the most of it na lang.”

Has he heard that Kris now has a new BF? “Yes, at kung sinuman yun, gusto kong pasalamatan dahil gumanda na ang mood ni Kris at maayos na naging usapan namin. Friends na kami uli.”

Has Kris told him about Mayor Herbert Bautista? “Alam ko may dine-date siya, pero hindi naman niya sinasabi kung sino.”

What can he say that the so-called Kristek love team (for Kris and Bistek) makes some folks suspect it’s just a political gimmick for them to be talked about in time for the 2016 elections?
“Ay, hindi na ko nakikialam dun. Kung totoo, e di mas okay. Kung hindi, hindi na natin alam yun. Basta ang mahalaga, maging masaya sila sa buhay nila para masaya rin ang lahat.”
