John Lloyd Cruz' Face Injured By Bike Accident So He Has To Heal First Before Going Back To Work

WE THOUGHT THE accident John Lloyd Cruz met while biking on a mountain trail to shoot the new summer ID of ABS-CBN was a minor one. It now turns out that he didn’t get just a mere scratch on his face but it was nearly disfigured because one of his cheeks hit some sharp stones. As a result, he was not able to tape new episodes for his sitcom with Angel Locsin, “Home Sweetie Home”, and he was temporarily replaced by Piolo Pascual.

He’s also supposed to attend the recent launch of a new ad campaign with Anne Curtis but he failed to make it. It could have been the first time he and Anne would be seen together after that bar slapping incident they were both involved in late last year. This also means that new new movie he’s supposed to be shooting for Star Cinema, which pairs him for the first time with Jessy Mendiola, will have to wait until the time that he is fully healed.
