Mickey Ferriols Return To Gma-7, Says She & Estranged Partner Archie Alemania Are Now Best Of Friends

GUESS WHO’S balik Kapuso in “Kambal Sirena”. It’s Mickey Ferriols, whose real name is Michelle Forster, she being the half sister of Jackie Forster. Does she have any communication with Jackie? “Yes, I’ve sent her messages and prayers for her daughter, Caleigh, who’s diagnosed with leukemia,” she says. “I told her to be strong for her daughter.”

What about Jackie’s rift with Andre and Kobe, her sons with Benjie Paras? “Wala naman akong magagawa roon. It’s between them. Pero sana, maayos na nila.”

It’s Mickey’s 41st birthday tomorrow, March 8, so we wished her happy birthday when we saw her at the presscon of “Kambal Sirena” on GMA-7. She started with GMA in “Eat Bulaga” in 1996 and became a co-host of “Unang Hirit” in 1999. She moved to ABS-CBN in 2003 to co-host “Masayang Tanghali Bayan” and did several soaps like “Hiram”, “Sana Maulit Muli”, “Dyosa”, “Nasaan Ka Elisa”, “Little Champ”, “Ina Kapatid Anak”, “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan”.

It’s at ABS where she met then dancer Archie Alemania, with whom she had a son named Brent Marcus, now 8 years old. They’ve since separated ways but they’re now the best of friends. “I told him nga, mas mabuti kaming magkaibigan ngayon, kasi noon lagi kaming nag-aaway. I’ve met his new girlfriend and na-meet na rin niya ang bago kong boyfriend. Kung minsan, lumalabas kami, foursome.”

Mickey says her son is now very close to her new non-showbiz BF. She now plays the mother of twin sisters, Alona and Perlas, both played by Louise de los Reyes in “Kambal Sirena” that starts airing on Monday to replace "Adarna" after "24 Oras".

“Anak ako rito ni Tessie Tomas at pinipilit niya kong pakasal kay Ryan Eigenmann na kapatid ng best friend kong si Lotlot de Leon. But ayoko kay Ryan and I fall in love with a merman or syokoy, si Yul Servo. Nagkaanak kami ng twins na ang isa, may gills or hasang sa may leeg niya, si Alona. Tapos yung isa, may buntot, a mermaid, si Perlas, na napalayo sa amin at napunta sa kaharian ng mga sirena called Sirenadia where the queen is Arowana, played by Angelika de la Cruz, na bale lola niya kasi anak nito si Yul Servo. Ryan dies and Loltot blames me kaya naging mortal enemies kami. Kaso, ang anak niya, si Aljur, na-in love naman kay Louise as Perlas. I’m very happy sa pagbabalik kong itong sa GMA kasi maganda yung role ko. Bale first soap ko ito sa kanila kasi nung nandito pa ko, hosting ko lang and I was in a sitcom, ‘1 for 3’.”
