“Paraiso Ko’y Ikaw”, is ending in three weeks

GMA-7’S 6PM soap, “Paraiso Ko’y Ikaw”, is ending in three weeks. Lead star Kim Rodriguez somehow feels sad because she has grown quite close to Director Joyce Bernal and co-stars Kristoffer Martin, Joyce Ching and Pythos Ramirez.

“I enjoyed working with Direk Joyce so much,” she says. “I learned so much from her about acting. Maganda rin ang naging bonding namin ng lahat ng co-stars ko at minsan, lumalabas kami as a barkada after work kaya, for sure, I will miss them. Pati si Kuya Gabby Eigenmann who plays my long lost dad na parang acting coach ko tungkol sa tamang atake sa mga eksena namin. Sabi ko nga, sana huwag mawala ang friendship naming lahat kahit matapos na ang show.”

So what will happen in the last few weeks of the show? “My character, Josephine, dati laging inaapi, now, matututo na siyang lumaban. Inilalayo ako nina Jessa Zaragoza at Joyce Ching sa ama kong si Kuya Gabby, pero lalabanan ko sila. ‘Paraiso Ko’y Ikaw’ will be very memorable for me kasi dito ko unang nagkaroon ng kissing scene at nagpa-sexy sa fashion show scene na pinagsuot ako ng two-piece lingerie. I did it kasi kailangan talaga sa eksena at maayos namang lumabas on screen.”

So what’s her next project after this? “Wala pa, but GMA Artist Center told me na baka gumawa muna ako ng indie film.”
