So how’s Anne as “Dyesebel”? “I never saw the past versions but I must say she's doing a great job. You can see she’s really enjoying herself very much. I have no doubt that she is the perfect star to play Dyesebel. She has the right mixture of sweetness and sexiness. I’ve always admired her. I've seen her grow as a woman, as an artist and as a person. Masasabi ko ngayon na I admire her more for the woman that she has become."
How does he feel that the character he plays, a merman named Liro, is not in the original “Dyesebel”? “Okay lang, I just feel so lucky na nakasama ako dito. Sa cast pa lang, sobrang laki and star-studded na at ang babait lahat ng mga kasama namin, from Gerald Anderson and Andi Eigenmann to more senior stars like Dawn Zulueta, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Gabby Concepcion, Albert Martinez and Eula Valdes. It’s an honor to be working with such a respectable cast."
How about his plans to cultivate a career in Hollywood? "May plans pa rin akong bumalik dun. It’s difficult for me, so I still need a lot of training."
