JOEY MARQUEZ won’t react at first when he was asked by writers as to what he can say about the romance of his ex-live in partner Kris Aquino and QC Mayor Herbert Bautista?
“No comment, world peace na lang tayo,” he says.
But when writers were insistent about how he feels about it, he finally says: “Basta kung saan sila happy, di okay.”
How about him? Is he happy? “I’m happy. Alone but not lonely.”
After winning a best supporting actor award for his dramatic role as the dedicated anti-narcotic cop in “On the Job”, Joey is now back in comedy as the father of Solenn Heussaff in “Da Possessed” that opens on Black Saturday. “Actually, ako ang kontrabida kay Vhong Navarro rito,” he says. “Kakalabanin ko siya nang husto. Pero comedy ang pelikula kaya pa-comedy rin ang pagkokontrabida ko rito. Napakagaling ni Vhong. I enjoyed making this movie with him.”
