Katrina Halili Back In Sexy Form For New Inspirational Soap, 'Nino'

KATRINA HALILI is back in top form after giving birth and is more than ready to face the cameras anew in Maryo de los Reyes’ heart warming inspirational series, “Nino”, where she’s paired with Tom Rodriguez as the parents of title-roler Miguel Tanfelix. “It’s nice to be reunited with Direk Maryo who directed one of my best soaps ever, ‘Magdusa Ka’, which got even nominated abroad,” she says.

She’s so flattered when people say she doesn’t look like someone who has already given birth.

“Siempre, it’s very flattering when I hear them say that,” she says. “That inspires me more para magpapayat. Una sa lahat, binawasan ko ang food intake ko. Then I did cardiovascular exercises. I want to get my kind of body noong 19 pa lang ako doing ‘Majika’ with Dennis Trillo. Kulang pa, I need to lose a few more pounds kasi I really gained weight during my pregnancy.”

Is she and BF Kris Lawrence ready to face the altar soon? “Napag-uusapan kasi matagal na rin kami at may baby na kami. Okay naman kami, pero may iba pa kaming mga gustong ma-achieve bago yun. Gusto ko munang magkaroon ng sariling business. We’re not naman nagmamadali, kasi okay naman kami ngayon as it is. Marami pa kaming gustong gawin sa buhay.”

How is Kris as dad to their daughter Katie? “He’s okay, very responsible. Laging nandiyan siya for our daughter. He plays with her. Mabait siya. Maasahan.”
